The resale process is actually much more complex than one realizes. KROC is bound to do a thorough review of all accounts at sale and “disclose” any issue that may encumber the account in some manner. And, response time may be affected by “high season” times when a large number of homes are being sold.
The Commonwealth of Virginia requires that this work be finished within “14 days,” which is why “14 days” is the answer that will be given to any questions about the preparation of the resale packet. Generally, it does not take that long; however, the appropriate time necessary will be taken to ensure the documents are correct.
