Door Viewer/Peep Hole Standard Application Information
The style of the door viewer/peep hole must be similar to one of the two representative styles illustrated below, and may not exceed one inch in diameter. The "Big View" style must have a brass outer case. The smaller viewer should have a brass housing. Door viewers/peep holes shall be installed in the center of the door, from side to side, and in the upper third of the door. Applications must identify the style viewer proposed for installation, the dimensions, and the proposed distance from the top of the door to the peep hole.

"Big View" Door Viewer
Brass Case, One Inch Diameter
Style B:

National Door Viewer
One Way, Solid Brass Housing, One-Half Inch Hole Size
Adopted by the Board or Trustees - January 10, 1995.
