Door Knocker Standard Application Information
Door Knockers may conform to any of the following styles and dimensions. Knockers must be solid brass, polished/ bright or "brushed" finish; and must be installed in the center of the door from left to right, and in the top third of the door. Fasteners should be durable and non-rusting. Applications should state the style proposed, dimensions, and the proposed distance from the top of the door to the top of the knocker.
STYLE A: "Colonial" style as illustrated below; not exceeding 7 inches in length or 3-3/4 inches in width.

"COLONIAL" STYLE SOLID BRASS DOOR KNOCKER
STYLE B: "S" style as illustrated below; not exceeding 7-3/4 inches in length with bases not more than 2 inches in diameter.

"S" STYLE SOLID BRASS DOOR KNOCKER
STYLE C: "Ring" style as illustrated below; not exceeding 4-1/2 inches in width or 5-1/2 inches In length.

"RING" STYLE SOLID BASS DOOR KNOCKER
**On six panel doors, knocker should be centered in top cross section.
