Grounds Committee Membership Information
The Grounds Committee has a similar configuration as the ARC. There are nine members, three from each village, and they also have one-year terms. The Grounds Committee's main focus is on the aesthetics and maintenance of common area, which includes turf, trees, streets, parking areas, tot lots, etc. The committee reviews contracts and makes recommendations to the Board of Trustees for future plantings and maintenance requirements of the common areas. These are just a few of the committee's responsibilities, and as Kingstowne grows, so too will the Grounds Committee's responsibilities.
This committee meets on an as-needed basis. As one can probably imagine, the length of the meetings are tied to the seasons, but on average meetings run around one and a half hours.
