Attic ventilators/fans and turbines are permitted if painted to match the color of the roof (if roof mounted) or the color of the house siding or trim (if mounted on a gable end). Ventilators and turbines should be mounted on the least visible side of the ridge pole (usually the rear roof of the house, for roof mounted) so as to minimize their visibility. This information must be supplied with the application when submitted.
