Architectural Review Committee Membership Information

Among the ARC's many tasks are: to review and approve Architectural Review Applications for many types of residential lot exterior improvements, to work to improve the wording and clarity of KROC's Architectural Policies, and to monitor covenants' compliance within Kingstowne's neighborhoods.

The ARC meets on the third Wednesday each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Thompson Community Center. The length of the meetings depends primarily on the number of applications the committee has to review. On that point, during the Spring and Summer the meetings are generally longer, since these are the main building seasons. On average, the meetings last around two hours. The Friday before each meeting the committee members are given a packet containing the meeting agenda and other pertinent information, including copies of the applications that are up for review. The members are responsible for reviewing the packets, and doing site inspections of the applicant's lots, when necessary, before the meeting.

The ARC is comprised of three members from each Kingstowne Village (North, South and Middle) giving the committee a total of nine members.
