Highlights of the September 5, 2007 Meeting

Voted to take corrective action for yard maintenance violations against the owners of 14 homes if the violations are not corrected by the deadline dates already provided to the homeowners.
Took action to initiate monetary fines against five property owners who have outstanding architectural violations.
Took action to initiate the addition of new architectural guidelines for driveway extensions and rain barrels. A public hearing will be held for these two proposed guidelines before the October 17, 2007 architectural review committee meeting. The full text of the guidelines can be viewed in the October Kingstonian.
Approved a fee revision for guest pool passes.
Approved the snow plowing contract with Lancaster Landscape.
Responded to correspondence from the Nottingham Neighborhood Advisory Representatives.
Approved landscaping improvements along South Van Dorn, the Prestwick Neighborhood entrance and the newest entrance to the community at Greendale Village Drive.
Following a year of research and training, formally adopted Policy Governance as a new governing structure for the Kingstowne Residential Owners Corporation.
Heard a presentation concerning the potential development of 6.39 acres of land known as Clames Chase.
