November 6, 2007 BOT Meeting Highlights

Welcomed trustees Cynthia Jacobs Carter, Gary Ezard and Michael Houlihan to the board following the recent KROC elections.
Elected board officers-Kathleen Snyder, President; Hilary Goodman, Vice President of Operation; Cynthia Jacobs Carter, Vice President of Public Relations; Jeanne McCarroll, Treasurer.
Voted to take corrective action for yard maintenance violations against the owners of 5 homes if the violations are not corrected by the deadline dates already provided to the homeowners.
Approved implementation of new architectural guidelines for driveway extensions and rain barrels.
Approved expediting applications for Rubbermaid-type sheds by categorizing them as standard applications reviewable by staff.
Assessed a $50 fine for an ongoing parking violation regarding a car blocking the sidewalk in the Founders Ridge Neighborhood.
Reviewed emails regarding the addition of office buildings in the Towne Center.
Reviewed emails dealing with a home-based business.
Reviewed Towne Center project and noted a December 12, 2007 community wide meeting regarding this project.
Discussed the ongoing stormwater management issues faced by the Kingstowne Residential Owners Corporation.
