KROC BOARD MEETING HIGHLIGHTS
Board highlights are written from DRAFT minutes prior to the Board approval and are subject to change. 

January 2, 2008, BOT Meeting Highlights

• Reviewed the architectural review committee’s minutes, November financial reports, management/ staff reports and the WTS report.

•  A follow-up email concerning the editorial guidelines for the KROC magazine, the Kingstonian, was reviewed.

• Reviewed an email from an Attenborough resident concerning outside lighting on personal property being in working order.  Following legal counsel’s advice the board determined, that the KROC legal documents do not allow for the enforcement of exterior lighting.  The board considers the maintenance of exterior lighting as a neighborhood issue. 

• Upheld an architectural review committee decision concerning the use of black iron railings for a deck. The Kingstowne guidelines do not allow the use of iron railing on decks.

• Discussed the continuing policy governance planning for the association.

• The trustees endorsed the application for changes to the Kingstowne Towne Center.

The next board meeting will be held on February 6, 2008
