Meeting Minutes

January 16, 2008

Members Present:                     J. D. Gray, James Jeweler, Baxter Lawrence, Paul Lindell, Vickie Parshall and Sarah Wagner

 Others Present:                         Susan Livingstone, Architectural/Covenants Administrator 

J. D. Gray called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm

REVIEW OF MINUTES:

 Baxter Lawrence moved to accept the minutes for the December 2007 ARC meeting.  Vickie Parshall seconded the motion.  The motion carried unanimously.

 APPLICATION REVIEW:

MAJORS:       

08-003                         Railing

Vickie Parshall moved to defer the decision and request information regarding the color, style and material to be used from the owner.  J. D. Gray seconded the motion.  The motion carried unanimously.

07-427                         Tree Removal

J. D. Gray moved to approve the application for the tree removal with the condition that the tree be replaced with a small tree more suitable for the space.  Baxter Lawrence seconded the motion.  The motion carried unanimously.

08-005                         Retaining Wall with Fence   

J. D. Gray moved to approve the application for the retaining wall and rear fence.  The approval is contingent that the excavation does not negatively affect the existing drainage to neighboring properties and the common ground.   The wood portions of the wall and fence should be treated only with clear stain or preservative that allows the natural wood grain to be visible.  Paul Lindell seconded the motion.   The motion carried unanimously.

08-009                         Replacement Windows

J. D. Gray moved to approve the application for the replacement windows with the condition that the trim be the size, width and profile of the existing trim.   Baxter Lawrence seconded the motion.   The motion carried unanimously.

08-004                         Replacement Windows

J. D. Gray moved to approve the application for the replacement windows with the condition that the trim color is Amber White.  Paul Lindell seconded the motion.   The motion carried unanimously.

07-428                         Replacement Light Fixture

Baxter Lawrence moved to approve the application for the replacement light fixture.  J.D. Gray seconded the motion.   The motion carried unanimously.

08-006                         Replacement Roof

J. D. Gray moved to approve the application for the replacement roof.   Baxter Lawrence seconded the motion.   The motion carried unanimously.

07-425                         Garage Door

J. D. Gray moved to deny the replacement garage door because the color does not match the color of the previous door or the color scheme of the home.  The design of the door proposed is satisfactory.  Jim Jeweler seconded the motion.  The motion carried unanimously.

Baxter Lawrence  moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:50 pm.  Vickie Parshall seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously.

The next meeting of the ARC will be February 20, 2008.
