How do I reserve a Community Center for my meeting or event?

Click here for the online reservation request form or call the business office at (703) 922-9477.  Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance of the date of the rental, but the earlier, the better.

What payment options do I have for reserving the Community Center?

Payments must be made by the resident and drawn against that resident's VISA or Mastercard. Money orders and cashier's checks are also accepted.

What payment is due at the time of reservation?

At the time the reservation is made, the payment due includes the security deposit, the cleaning fee and half of the hourly rate fee.

How do I determine the amount of hours I need to rent the Community Center for my event?

When determining the hours of the rental, be sure to include setup and clean up time.  This should also include the time the caterers will need access to the building.

Can I have more than one event scheduled at one time?

No.  Residents may only have one scheduled event at a time.  A second event can only be scheduled after the first event is concluded or cancelled.

Can I reserve the pool?

Kingstowne does not rent its pools for private events, and Community Center Rentals do not include pool use or reserved parking.

Is it possible to have security at my event?

Security guard services are now available as an option.  Just like the room fee, half the cost of this service is due with the initial deposit.

I need to cancel or change my reservation, what do I do?

Cancellations or changes must be made in writing and at least two weeks in advance of the date of the rental.

Can I serve alcohol at my event?

Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) requires licensing for events at which alcohol is served.  Information on how to obtain a license can be found at www.abc.state.va.us/licensing/banquet.htm. 

When is my final payment due?

Final payment is required two weeks before the event.
