J. D. Gray called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm


REVIEW OF MINUTES:

Motion to accept the minutes for the July ARC meeting.  The motion carried unanimously.


APPLICATION REVIEW:

07-274                         Color Change

Motion to approve the color change.  The motion carried unanimously. 

07-306                         Patio                                                             

Motion to approve the application for the patio.  The approval is contingent that the excavation not negatively affects the drainage to neighboring properties and common ground and that only neutral natural colored stones, rocks, bricks or pavers are used.  The motion carried unanimously.

Motion to approve the application for the patio. The approval is contingent that the excavation not negatively affects the drainage to neighboring properties and common ground and that only neutral natural colored stones, rocks, bricks or pavers are used.  The motion carried unanimously.

Motion to approve the application for the non-permanent gazebo.  The motion carried unanimously.

Motion to approve the application for the gazebo upon receipt of signatures of notification from neighboring properties.  The approval is also contingent that the gazebo be treated only with clear stain or preservative that allows the natural wood grain to be visible.  The motion carried unanimously.

Motion to approve the application for the awning.  The motion carried unanimously.

Motion to approve the application for the lower deck that is constructed of pressure treated wood that is only treated with clear stain or preservative that allows the natural wood grain to be visible.  The motion carried unanimously.

Motion to approve the application for the solid color awning.  The motion carried unanimously.

Motion to approve the application for the deck with the condition that it follows the neighborhood guideline requiring gray and white deck.  The motion carried unanimously.

Motion to approve the application for the siding.   The motion carried unanimously

Motion to approve the application for the patio.   The approval is contingent that the excavation not negatively affects the drainage to neighboring properties and common ground and that only neutral natural colored stones, rocks, bricks or pavers are used.  The motion carried unanimously

07-287                         Fence

Motion to approve the application for the fence with the conditions that it follow the neighborhood guideline for fences and that it is only treated with clear stain or preservative that allows the natural wood grain to be visible.  The motion carried unanimously.

07-289                         Garage Door

Motion to approve the application for the replacement garage door.  The motion carried unanimously.


NEW BUSINESS:

The ARC discussed the proposed guideline for driveway extensions and rain barrels.  Motion to approve the guidelines and submit them to the Board of Trustees for approval.  The motion carried unanimously.

The ARC reviewed roof samples and identified several for use in the Derbyshire neighborhood.  The approved color names are from Certainteed but other brands are acceptable.

Colors for the blue/gray homes are:

            Nickel Gray
            Silver Lining
            Star White
            Gray Frost

Colors for the brown/tan homes are:

            Cedar Brown
            Oakwood
            Cinnamon Frost
            Timber Blend

Motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:30 pm.  The motion carried unanimously.
