KROC BOARD MEETING HIGHLIGHTS

Board of Trustees

Highlights of the April 11, 2007 Meeting 

Architectural

• Approved an administrative revision to the architectural guideline relating to fencing which will expand the guidelines to allow for the utilization of composite fencing.
• Approved an application for a composite fence.

Budget

• Approved an administrative resolution addressing delinquent accounts.
• Approved the renewal of the cleaning contract for the community centers with Mister Kleen.
• Approved the renewal of the fitness equipment maintenance contract with East Coast Fitness.
• Approved the pest control renewal contracts with One Call Pest Management.

Homeowner’s Forum

• Upheld the ARC decision concerning a deck appeal in the Hunters Crest’s neighborhood.
• Denied a request for a reconsideration of monetary assessment relating to an architectural violation in the Cantwell Neighborhood.

Other Business

• Accepted the 2006 draft Audit Report.
• Heard a presentation on the proposed development of the Kingstowne Library site, which includes a public/private partnership that may allow for the construction of this regional library in 2010/2011 rather than the current schedule of 2018.  The proposal includes the addition of housing, parking and a green space area.

The next KROC Board of Trustees meeting will be held on May 2, 2007.
